Inversion of Space Debris Material by Synthetic Light Curves

چکیده

Ground-based optical observation of GEO space debris plays an essential role in tracking, identifying, cataloging, and classifying debris. The factors that affect the brightness include size, surface material, illumination geometry, attitude, shape, position, so on. In order to better understand influence above on debris, synthetic light curves are analyzed. Ashikhmin–Shirley model is chosen simulate effects orbit, parameters, location station analyzed by control variable method. Based Markov Chain Monte Carlo method (MCMC), optimal parameters characterize material can be obtained comparing with observed under certain attitude characteristics. results roughly good agreement those measured laboratory.
